In this role, you will be working alongside a team of approachable, enthusiastic and expert pensions lawyers. The partners are keen to grow the pensions team at NQ+ level to meet increasing demand which sees this team go from strength to strength. With a solid pipeline of instructions coming through and consistent client growth forecast for 2025 and beyond, this is a great opportunity.
This role will involve acting for major corporates or trustees of pension schemes, or other pensions industry bodies, providing advice in a wide range of pensions law, including drafting scheme documentation (e.g. deeds of amendment) advising on legislative changes, scheme wind ups and changes (e.g. reducing accrual or increasing member contributions) investment issues, such as investment management agreements and support relating to TUPE issues. The team also has particular expertise in the pensions aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals, scheme mergers, insolvencies, restructuring and wind-ups as well as all aspects of pensions disputes and litigation work.
